Today you'll see the results we have achieved as of November 2021. The game is in active development, there is a lot of work to be done, and in the near future, we plan to release a demo.
In the recording of the stream you will be able to see:
- Bridgetown’s coast and port: we have the shipyard building, warehouses, and the place where ships are constructed. A ship and the fort are made based on real-life blueprints and upon recommendations of our historical consultant.
- Sailing mode: you'll see our first ship where all key physics mechanics are already present. All ropes, masts, and sails are also implemented. Currently, we’re working on adding more animations for the crew and we’ll also have a helmsman who will be standing by the tiller.
- Part of the jungle and ruins: right now, we’re placing objects at the location, and the next thing we’ll do is optimize them. The current FPS is decent, but we’d like to increase it.
- Perudo Game: We played the popular pirate dice game.
