Sea Dogs: To Each His Own map: Martinique island
By the amount of content, Martinique is the undisputed leader among the islands in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own.
And it’s not only about the two towns: the French Saint-Pierre and the pirate Le François. A lot of it comes from the early-game starter quest chain in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own. The only real competitor is arguably Capsterville with the “Hero of the Nation” DLC installed. But let’s go step by step.
If you decide not to take a loan at the beginning of the game and start on your own, you can pick up the following quests:
- “Call Girls” — from a nobleman walking the streets during the day;
- “Rum for the Bartender” — from the local tavern owner;
- “Cannibals” — at the port office;
- “Warehouse Worker” — in the local store;
- “Stolen Jewel” — once you get into the jungle, you’ll see a few natives running away from a body; make sure to loot the body, because it disappears when you leave the location;
- “Scarce Goods” — from one of the guards in the fort.
The quests themselves are fairly simple, but since each of them has failure conditions, and the total time to complete all tasks is limited, try to combine them wisely.
If you return to Martinique with the “The Last Lesson” DLC installed, and Charles’ rank is between 4 and 12 inclusive, you can start the quest “Tarred Dog” at the local shipyard.
Moreover, up to rank 15 inclusive, you will also have access to the final quest with the same name from that DLC, provided you have completed all the other ones. This is also where you’ll face one of the toughest fights in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own.
Note that under certain circumstances, two friends can help you in that fight. Considering the enemies’ stats even on the lowest difficulty, it’s hard to keep your friends alive — but it’s possible. Don’t forget that.
Both in Saint-Pierre and in Le François you’ll find all types of merchants, which is very convenient at the start of the game. As for sea trade (the price table is below), it stands out with “green” prices for coffee and cotton, which are scarce goods in some other towns.

The price table is актуальна for Sea Dogs: To Each His Own version 1.7.3.
Manga rosa does not grow on Martinique in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own — and that’s arguably for the best: since manga rosa disappears after the first visit to its location, many players would simply miss it.
If you need the full Sea Dogs: To Each His Own map, we recommend reading this material.
