Hispaniola Island Map. Sea Dogs: To Each His Own — Trade and Secrets

Hispaniola Island Map. Sea Dogs: To Each His Own — Trade and secrets

Sea Dogs: To Each His Own — Hispaniola island map

In Sea Dogs: To Each His Own, Hispaniola has three towns: the Spanish Santo Domingo, the French Port-au-Prince, and the pirate settlement La Vega.

During a full playthrough of Sea Dogs: To Each His Own, it’s almost impossible to miss Hispaniola — the island is featured in a huge number of quests.

First of all, this is where you’ll run into the very first side quest given by Fadey: “Caribbean Manners”. And if you own the “The Last Lesson” DLC, then after you arrive at the Port-au-Prince tavern (from 8 AM to 10 PM), the quest “Grand Albalante” will start (as long as Charles is not below rank 4 and not above rank 12).

La Vega is tied to almost every quest in the “Under the Black Flag” DLC — you won’t be able to miss it even if you try.

We should also point out a few nice details about Santo Domingo in Sea Dogs. It has all types of street traders (which is convenient), and it also has a brothel, which is even better.

Now, about sea trade: below is a price table with non-standard pricing. Note that this table is shared for Santo Domingo and La Vega, because the price distribution in these two towns is identical.

What stands out immediately are the low (“green”) prices for gold and leather. Leather is a deficit commodity in some other towns, so this can be a very profitable trading point.

Prices in Port-au-Prince are different. The only standout detail here is still the low (“green”) price for leather.

The price tables are relevant for Sea Dogs: To Each His Own version 1.7.3.

Note that Port-au-Prince is one of the checkpoint locations during the Sailing Regatta questline in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own.

Manga rosa hunters won’t leave Hispaniola empty-handed: you can find two plants here. The first manga rosa can be found in the pool inside a cave deep inland, while the second manga rosa is on the small islet where the Port-au-Prince lighthouse is located.

Reminder: in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own, you can pick up manga rosa only on your first visit to the location in a playthrough — once you leave the area, the manga rosa disappears.
