Sea Dogs: To Each His Own map: Barbados Island

Veterans of the Sea Dogs series probably know Barbados by heart thanks to Peter Blood’s starting questline in Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships. But for newcomers, this article can be genuinely useful.

The English colony of Bridgetown is the only town on Barbados in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own. It has all types of street vendors except the native woman, and it also has a brothel.

This is also where a secret organization is based — you can follow the story quest “Dutch Gambit” on their side. If you want to contact them, talk to the tavern keeper.

Keep in mind: Charles must have well-developed weapon skills, and you also need a negative reputation. One more restriction: if your character is above rank 15, you won’t be able to join them.

It’s also worth noting that Barbados in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own is the second-to-last checkpoint in the Sailing Regatta.

You can also find a plantation on Barbados connected to the DLC “The Last Lesson”. In a way, it’s a historical reference — in real life, the island was one of the major sugar suppliers of that era.

Now let’s move on to naval trade on Barbados in Sea Dogs: To Each His Own.

Below is the usual table with prices that differ from the standard ones. Aside from the “green” price for cocoa (which is scarce in some towns), there’s nothing particularly special about Bridgetown’s shop.

Unfortunately, manga rosa does not grow on Barbados. On the other hand, you won’t have to take a detour for it anyway — Barbados is somewhat isolated from the rest of the islands in Sea Dogs.
